  • 1 1/2 lb. top sirloin or other steak
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1-12 oz. can of coke
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Hungarian Sweet paprika


Place steak in bowl, Pour Coke over and add garlic and onions. Let sit for at least I hour.

Preheat an outdoor gas grill or charcoal grill to medium heat.

In a bowl combine brown sugar, salt, pepper, onion powder and paprika. Remove steak from coke. Liberally coat both sides of meat with brown sugar mixture.
Grill for 4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.

Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes before carving. Cut meat diagonally across the grain into thin slices and serve
