1 small wheel Brie, top wax removed
1 pkg puff pastry, defrosted
1 small jar any type preserves or jam
1/2 cup pecans, browned in butter
1 egg, beaten


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Unfold puff pastry and lay out on a flat surface. Place the brie in the center of the pastry and top with preserves or jam and pecans. Bring the corners and sides to the center top, stretching it carefully as needed to cover the cheese, and then pinch together to seal it on the seams and at the center being certain that the top is sealed well.
Brush with the egg wash all over. Bake for 25 minutes.

Serve warm with crackers.
